I’m Carol! The artist behind Zazazoom!

Zazazoom, to me, is a feeling. A good feeling!

I put so much love into every piece I make that I joke they’re little “crystals” of good energy. I hope that when one finds its way into your home, you can feel a little bit of that magic, too.

Making art has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’m one of those people who gets an idea stuck in my head and simply has to go make it. I’ve been following that impulse for years, always experimenting, always creating, always making something with my hands.

And then there are dogs. I’m a little bit of a crazy dog lady. Okay… maybe more than a little.  I love all animals, but dogs are my absolute jam.

My felt art journey began in 2019, when I made a little portrait of my Whippets wearing Devo hats just for fun. I put it on Etsy, and before long, people started asking if I could make their dogs in the same style. And that little idea turned into something much bigger.

Hundreds and hundreds of portraits (and other fun felt things) later, the goal is still the same: to make something that makes someone smile.
